2024 Programs and Events
Velocitytx incubator
This 2–5 year program is designed to scale early-stage bioscience companies by providing long-term support and includes office space, access to industry experts, mentors, educational courses, and more. Within the Incubator, a company can develop its business model, work on its prototype, and test solutions while networking in the bioscience ecosystem.
SBIR/STTR BOOTCAMP
This 9-week program provides step-by-step instruction to help emerging innovators learn how to craft and submit a winning Phase I SBIR proposal. Led by experts who have secured over $240M in federal grants, this free program is hosted in-person at the VelocityTX Innovation Center and online for remote convenience.
CEO Roundtable
The monthly series is an exclusive membership program designed for CEOs leading bioscience and healthcare industry companies. The CEO Roundtable brings executives from non-competing companies together in small group, closed-door sessions to share experiences and industry knowledge to foster innovation, collaboration, and connections.
CONNECT WITH VELOCITYTX
This quarterly networking event brings bioscience professionals and community leaders together, spurring innovation while enjoying drinks and small bites. Each happy hour features a presentation from one of our community members introducing their company.
Innovation showcase
Innovation Showcase is a community open house and startup demo event. This community celebration highlights our work to advance San Antonio’s bioscience and military medical communities as we develop an urban Innovation District that will promote inclusive economic opportunity for generations to come.
